We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data and proprietary engineering information you share with us. We collect information that you provide to us directly or that is generated automatically when you interact with our platform:
- Account & Profile Information: When you register, we collect your name, business email address, company name, and password.
- Engineering & BOM Data: We store the information you upload to the platform, including bills of materials (BOMs), component quantities, manufacturer part numbers (MPNs), packages, footprints, and custom metadata.
- Payment Information: All payment transactions are processed securely through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
- Usage Data & Analytics: We collect details about your interactions with our app, such as API requests, feature usage, IP addresses, browser types, and operating system information, to maintain platform stability and optimize performance.
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our services, including:
- Providing parts registry, BOM matching, and collaboration features.
- Evaluating component lifecycles (Active, NRND, EOL, Obsolete) and alerting you to potential supply chain risks.
- Processing subscription payments and billing overages.
- Sending critical system notifications, security alerts, and customer support communications.
- Analyzing usage patterns to design better search systems and dashboard workflows.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or uploaded component registries to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform (e.g., hosting providers, email delivery systems, and payment processors), subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical security measures to protect your organization's data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you with services and comply with legal requirements.
